Land & Wildlife Conservation Society
Students passionate about Canadian & Albertan flora and fauna.
The Land and Wildlife Conservation Society is a group of extremely passionate individuals who care deeply about the wildlife and the land they inhabit. With a keen focus on the habitats of the animals that occupy Alberta, we hone in on issues that involve local fauna such as Caribou, Coyotes, Deer, Elk, Geese, and Moose.
We hope to improve the wild conditions of our province and preserve the natural beauty that so many Albertans and visitors alike have grown to love.
Group initiatives include fundraising events for conservation groups that include the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Ducks Unlimited, and the World Wide Fund for Nature, as well as local land reclamation pursuits such as litter cleanup days, and social advocacy.

Hi! I am a 5th year BComm student majoring in Operations Management. I started this club along with my friends to help spread the message of conservation in hopes of preserving the land and wildlife that inhabit the province I grew up in.

Sierra Sayles
Hi everyone! I’m a 5th year BSc in Agriculture student, and I’ll be your VP External & Marketing this year! I’ll be taking care of updating the website and social media, helping to organize fundraisers, and connecting with like-minded environmental and conservational organizations for possible collaborations! I helped start the club because I’m very passionate about conserving Alberta’s wildlife, sustainability, and ensuring animals remain in our ecosystems

Hi there! Im Evan, I’m a 4th year business student here at the University of Alberta, and I’m super excited to be serving as VP Finance for the LWCS during the 2023/24 school year. As VP Finance, I’ll be managing the club’s funds to ensure that we have the resources to meet out objectives! Growing up in rural Alberta, I gained a deep appreciation for the beautiful land that we get the privilege of living on, as well as all of the fascinating animals that we share it with.
